Primary Experience

I was on the Talent team for the 2026 ManiFresh stage at Columbia’s Manifest Arts Festival. It was an amazing learning experience where I:

  • Recruited and assessed potential artist for our stage
  • Helped analyze and choose our performers
  • Created documents and collected all information from artists
    • (Day-of-Show Sheet, stage manager sheet, contact list, artist’s promotional media & quotes)
  • Co-created the 6&1/2 hour Stage Setlist
  • Sent emails, messages, and DMs communicating with all 10 artists

Additionally, I have co-planned three semester showcase events as a captain on the Columbia Renegades Dance Team. Within our E-Board of 3, I take care of our event planning, team email communication, and collaboration.

Since the fall of 2024, I have been a captain of the Columbia Renegades Dance Team- a fully student-run team at Columbia. This has allowed me to exercise skills such as event planning, team building, schedule management, and more!

Things I have done with my time as captain –

  • Helped produce three semester showcases
  • Led and participated in two performances at Chicago’s Arts in the Dark Parade 2024 and 2025
  • Produced and choreographed a dance film in Spring 2026
  • Choreographed 10+ pieces with the team, including showcase dances, the Arts in the Dark performance, and our dance film
  • Booked performances for the team at Columbia for things like Manifest Festival and Festival of the Dance Teams

During the second semester of my junior year, I co-managed artist Campbell Crose. With this, I also attended SXSW 2026, where I helped him promote two shows in Austin and produce one showcase adjacent to the festival. Please check out some pictures of my experience at SXSW and managing Campbell below!

Along with that artist, I am also managing a Chicago-based singer/songwriter, Evelyn Vega. We are currently working towards getting her music recorded and released, and playing more live shows. Pictures also below!

During my time working with Live Nation at Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago, I have learned and experienced so much about event operations. My position as an Ambassador has allowed me to move around in different areas of our venue. My experience includes:

  • Crowd control
  • ADA seating and assistance
  • Upgraded seating and ADA wristbanding
  • Information Booth services
  • Interacting with guests, answering questions, and ushering

During my time with NPK Hospitality at Concord Music Hall, I have learned even more about event operations, specifically within security. Concord’s usual genres range from EDM to hardcore metal. This has allowed me to become comfortable working with a wide variety of guests. My experience includes:

  • Wristbanding patrons for alcohol (21+)
  • Guarding doors and checking wristbands and backstage passes
  • Calmly managing disruptive guests and de-escalating tense situations
  • Staying on high alert to potential threats, medical issues, or emergencies
  • Aiding gets with ADA assistance or VIP seating

Secondary Experience

Throughout my time working for the dance team, taking social media classes at Columbia, and managing a Chicago artist, I have expanded my knowledge of content creation. Please take a look at some videos I have made!

I attended SXSW 2025 with the Sponsorship team of L’Oréal Paris. I saw so many live shows and listened in on some really interesting panels, including Zane Lowe and Lars Ulrich. The experience was incredible, along with learning so much about sponsors and marketing.
